What is the IB Diploma Programme?

Your child, at the university
they choose, in Spain or worldwide.

The IB Diploma Programme is the most widely recognised pre-university qualification in the world. Oxford, Toronto, Sciences Po, and every Spanish university accept it. It is taken in the final two years of school, for students aged 16 to 18, and opens doors that the Spanish Baccalaureate simply cannot.

With the IB, your child does not memorise for an exam. They learn to research, to argue, to think in English and in global terms. Examinations are external and identical for every student in the world: the same standard in Valencia as in London, Tokyo, or New York. That is why the most demanding universities value it above any other qualification.

At Ausiàs March, our students have achieved an average university admission grade of 8.1/10 for 7 consecutive years via the IB, compared to 7.5 for the Spanish Baccalaureate at the same school. A consistent advantage of +0.62 points, year after year.

🌍
Universities anywhere in the world
Our alumni have gained places at Toronto, Hong Kong, Utrecht, ESADE, Navarra, Comillas ICADE, and many more. The IB is the most universal university passport available.
